Hello,
On behalf of the Haliburton ATV Association and the Lake of Bays ATV Club, welcomes you to another riding season and to this year’s trail guide. Whether you have been riding these trails for years or you are visiting for the first time, we are glad to have you as part of our riding community. Haliburton County continues to be one of Ontario’s best places to ride, offering a wide range of terrain, great scenery, and easy access to services, accommodations, and local businesses that support our sport. Each year we see more riders discovering what this area has to offer, and it’s great to watch our riding community continue to grow. As the sport continues to grow, so does the demand on our trail system. Trail maintenance and environmental protection are ongoing priorities for our clubs. We ask all riders to stay on marked trails, respect private property, and ride responsibly so these trails remain open, safe, and enjoyable for everyone. The Haliburton ATV Association is a not-for profit organization run entirely by volunteers. Our Board of Directors, trail crews, and event organizers dedicate countless hours to maintaining the trail network, organizing rides, and promoting safe and legal riding in accordance with MTO regulations and club standards. This trail guide is designed to help you get the most out of your season. In addition to maps, you’ll find information on accommodations, restaurants, local businesses, and useful resources to make planning your rides easier and more enjoyable. Thank you for your continued support of the Haliburton ATV Association and the Lake of Bays ATV Club. We look forward to seeing you on the trails and at our scheduled rides and events throughout the season.
Best Regards,
Michael Bukowski
President, Haliburton ATV Association
